Chefs Cynthia Graubart, Rebecca Lang, Virginia Willis, Pastry Chef Heather Hulburt, Caterer Dana Dabruzzi and Mixologist Lara Creasy of Les Dames d'Escoffier Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) is a worldwide society of women dedicated to creating a culture in the community that fosters excellence and promotes the achievement of women in culinary professions through educational and charitable activities. Atlanta Dames include chefs, restaurateurs, caterers, retailers, event planners, cookbook authors, food journalists and historians, winemakers and wine industry professionals, food publicists, culinary educators and hospitality executives. LDEI has also been a long-time friend of the ACFB. Tonight LDEI will partner with ACFB for a special evening of education and entertainment. Hospitality expert Dana Dabruzzi will share tips and techniques on spectacular entertaining at home, mixologist Lara Creasy will prepare hand-crafted cocktails guaranteed to warm you up and make you smile, and Chefs Cynthia Graubart, Rebecca Lang, Angie Mosier, and Virginia Willis will prepare a winter feast. We'll start with Rebecca Lang's Tiny Cream Cheese Biscuits paired with the dynamic duo of Divine Pimento Cheese and Country Ham Jam featured in her latest book, Around the Southern Table. Next will be a crisp, refreshing Citrus, Fennel and Pepper Salad topped with goat cheese prepared by Cynthia Graubart, co-author of Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking. For the main course attendees will enjoy the French country classic, Braised Pork Loin with Prunes and Armagnac served with Southern-style Stone Ground Grits and Greens by recent contender on Food Network’s Chopped and author of Bon Appetit Y'all!, Virginia Willis; and will finish with Oatmeal Spice Cake with brown sugar pecan icing, orange caramelized apples and Chantilly cream by Top Chef: Just Desserts “Cheftestant” and award winner Heather Hulbert.
