Peachtree City Food Drive Page

Hello Everyone!

In 2020-2021 it was estimated that one in eight Georgians are food insecure with one in six children being food insecure. When a family is deemed food insecure it means that they have limited access to adequate food sources. Food insceurity can be caused by many things including unemployment, low income, and chronic health conditions. The Peachtree City Classic Roadrace has teamed up with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to fight the ongoing battle against food insecurity. We will be collecting canned food donations at the race exposition Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Frederick Brown Ampitheater at 201 McIntosh Trail from 4:30 to 8:30 pm. In addition, you can donate to our online website and all donations will be given to the Atlanta Food Bank. Our goal is to collect 1,000 pounds of food.

As a community, we have the ability to come together to fight this battle of food insecurity. We are better together and together we can serve a community of people who are in need! See you from 4:30-8:30 on Friday, October 14th!
