On Sunday, March 12, 2023, thousands of people will come together to raise awareness and funds to help fight hunger at the Hunger Walk/Run - a project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Festivities for all ages start at 12pm. The walk begins at 2pm.

This year First United Lutheran will be joining with Mt. Zion AME, Kennesaw to form one team fighting hunger together. Funds raised by our “Mt.Z and FulC” team will go to Inspiritus, a partner charity of the ACFB, and a portion also comes back to us to give to our own local community (the Mt. Zion Food Pantry).

There are a number of ways you can support us: make a donation on behalf of the entire team or a specific team member, talk to Julie Caslow about sponsoring a walker, or JOIN THE TEAM and come walk with us!

This event is one of the most important hunger relief efforts of the year. For every $1 donated, 4 meals are able to be distributed. So, this means even the $25 registration fee helps to feed approximately 100 people.
