This year’s conference, “Growing together to Solve Hunger” Hunger is a community issue that requires a community response. It is only through a wider partnership of local people and organizations working together that we can hope to create the types of strong, thriving communities that are resistant to hunger. We are excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for ACFB and our partner agencies to explore new ways to collaborate and learn from each other to strengthen our communities: The second annual ACFB Partner Agency Conference is being held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Atlanta from 8AM - 4PM. We are strongly encouraging our partner agencies to attend this dynamic event created just for you! Look at what some of are participants from last year's conference has said: “Learning to think outside of our programs and to start thinking it terms of building communities" “Gaining a greater appreciation of the role of advocacy and community outreach in ending hunger” “All topics were relevant, helpful and very thought provoking. Your presenters were tops” Early bird registration is $10 per person till February 6th and $15 per person from February 7th to February 21st, limit of 2 per Agency.
