Chef Andrew Isabella, chef de cuisine of No. 246, is no stranger to Italian tradition. Growing up in an Italian family who emphasized helping people, he knew at an early age that he was destined to serve others through community outreach and drawing upon his culinary talents.  He’s right at home at No. 246, which places importance on the seasonality of locally sourced ingredients to build fresh, everyday dishes utilizing Italian cooking techniques in the heart of Decatur.  In this class he’ll demonstrate how to make Whole Grain Salad with dates and pickled yogurt vinaigrette, Agnolotti with corn and wild Georgia mushrooms, and Pork Involtini with local seasonal vegetables. Evening includes wine tastings sponsored by Sherlock’s Wine Merchant and a chance to win tasty door prizes provided by Bella Cucina Artful Foods and Cabot Cheese.
