The Cooks Warehouse Owner and Executive Chef Mary Moore and Chef Nealey Thompson, with Sommelier Don Hackett will be hosting and preparing a cooking demonstration. The Cooks Warehouse (Virtual) In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety of our supporters, we are featuring a "virtual" evening of food, fun and entertainment led and taught by a wonderful group of chefs! Join Chef Mary Moore, The Cook’s Warehouse Founder and Owner; Chef Nealey Thompson, and Sommelier (and fabulous cook in his own right) Don Hackett for a summer dining treat, in the comfort of your own home. The menu will include crab cakes, crunchy summer slaw followed by scrumptious strawberry shortcakes for dessert. The dishes will be paired with amazing wines carefully selected by Don, who has over 10 years as a wine expert. You will learn simple techniques for mastering a meal utilizing fresh seafood, local produce and seasonal strawberries that is sure to please a variety of palates. Although we won't be gathered together in person, The Cook's Warehouse is offering a safe way to enjoy a wonderful cooking demonstration and support your community and neighbors in need. This exclusive experience also includes a chance to win door prizes! 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Food Bank's mission.
