Hunger Walk Run takes place at The Home Depot Backyard on Sunday, March 10. The event is RAIN OR SHINE! However we will monitor local weather and coordinate with local officials in the weeks leading up to the event in the case of inclement weather.

Walk-up Registration on Event Day

Walk-up registrants are welcome at the event. The registration fee increases by $5 at the gate. Day-of-event walk registration is $35 and run registration is $45. If you did not pre-register online, you must visit the registration tent on Sunday to pay your registration fee. All paid registered participants will receive one event T-shirt, per individual. You can also turn in your cash, check, or credit card donations at the registration tent.

Lyft, Uber & Bus Parking Instructions: Ride sharing is highly encouraged due to the volume of participants! Easily accessible Lyft and Uber drop-off and pick-up sites are available in front of the Georgia World Congress Center. Bus parking is available in the Marshalling Yard at 362 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.


Riding MARTA: The closest MARTA stations to the Home Depot Backyard are the GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station and the Vine City MARTA station. View more details.


Parking fees for this event: Enjoy parking that's close and convenient to Hunger Walk Run 2024.We strongly encourage you to buy parking passes by March 7th. Parking can be purchased on race day, but the parking fee will be higher. Buy your parking pass now.

Don't Forget!

  • No pets! Only service animals are allowed at the Home Depot Backyard and on the route.
  • Food and beverages are available at onsite Food Trucks. There are no ATMs onsite.
  • Bring banners and wear your team t-shirts.
  • Strollers are allowed at Hunger Walk Run. There is plenty of fun for the kids!
  • Dress in layers and bring sunscreen. The event occurs rain or shine.
